Owned and operated by George Duncan and Wai Familton, Duncan’s is the result of a 22,000 km road trip circumnavigating the USA, where they drank their way through a multitude of sessionable and sometimes questionable beer offerings.

Clearly, a beer obsession was born.

Meet George Duncan

George Duncan, Head Brewer and Owner, started Duncan’s Brewing in 2014. Our current brewery was built in 2017.

Duncan’s is an independently owned microbrewery located on the Kapiti Coast. He likes to play with new style beers, which respectfully nod to the past. He believes in consistency, balance, evolution, quality and tasty ingredients.
