Burke's Brewing Company is based in Lake Tekapo, and evolved from Seb Burkes home brewing operation in 2015. The brewery has grown in stature, and most recently was awarded with a Champion New Zealand Beer 2021 at the Brewers NZ Guild Awards.
Meet Seb Burke
Seb began his brewing journey as a home brewer, experimenting with kits and recipes in his garage. His passion quickly grew, leading to the founding of Burkes Brewing Co., located at the Tin Plate Kitchen and Bar in Tekapo. Seb's dedication and skill have earned him multiple awards for his two signature brews: Fake News Hazy IPA and Unforgiven Porter.
